What is Strataderm?
Strataderm forms a flexible, protective barrier over the scar site, maintaining continuous contact with the area 24/7. This supports the skin’s natural collagen cycle, promoting the development of a mature, normal scar. Strataderm is effective in softening and flattening raised scars, providing relief from itching and discomfort, and reducing redness and discoloration associated with scarring.

How Strataderm Works
Strataderm creates a protective barrier over the scar, which locks in moisture and allows the skin to breathe, supporting the natural collagen cycle. This helps to normalise the scar tissue formation, encouraging a smoother, more even skin appearance. By softening and flattening raised scars, Strataderm helps improve the overall appearance and texture of the scar. It also reduces the itchiness and discomfort commonly associated with scars, as well as the redness and discolouration that may develop during the healing process.
Key Benefits of Strataderm:
- Supports collagen cycle – Encourages the development of a mature, normal scar
- Forms a flexible, protective film – Shields the scar while allowing it to breathe
- Softens and flattens scars – Improves the appearance and texture of raised scars
- Reduces discomfort – Helps relieve itching and irritation
- Reduces redness and discolouration – Promotes a more even skin tone
