Revisionary Breast Surgery

Occasionally after breast enlargement surgery, you may experience problems with your implants that require a re-operation. Complications can include capsular contracture, implant migration or rotation, as well as implant rupture. At Allure Clinic we call this revisionary breast surgery.

In some instances, the implants need to be removed, a new implant pocket formed, and replaced with a new implant or occasionally the existing implant is re-used if possible.

Generally, if there is a medical complication following breast surgery, even if the original procedure did not attract Medicare benefits, the secondary breast surgery following medical complications can be included under the Medicare Benefits Schedule.
